  • Are you 25 to 40 years old with at least a high school diploma or academic equivalency? Those over 40 are considered on an individual bases.


  • Have you studied or worked at a steady job for at least two years?  If your goal is ordination to the priesthood, preferably you have completed a bachelor’s degree.


  • Are you free of all significant debt? Exceptions may be made for student loans.


  • Are you responsible and emotionally mature?


  • Have you been a member of the Roman Catholic Church for at least two years?


  • Are you a practicing Catholic in your parish?


  • Do you have are desire for prayer and to serve God through serving others?


  • Do you have a desire to share and grow in the Faith of the Church?


  • Do you have the desire and ability to live in community without property?


  • Are you open to the person and ideals of St. Francis?
