In accordance with their tradition, the Franciscans of the Province of Christ the King (a.k.a. Franciscans of Western Canada) celebrated the closing of their annual retreat in Cochrane, Alberta, by honouring the years’ Jubilarians. In 2009, Vincent Fink, OFM, 50 years professed, Bernard Barry, OFM, 40 years professed, and Gerry Clyne, OFM, 20 years professed were celebrated along with Laurant Gallant, OFM, a member of St. Joseph’s Province residing in the west who celebrated 50 years of priesthood.
