The Mission Office of the Franciscans of the Holy Spirit Province of Canada awakens and develops the missionary spirit in the territory of the Province among the brothers and the public in general; promotes missionary projects to the brothers of the Province and the general public; leads the Franciscan Missionary Union (UMF). The U.M.F. brings together people who are committed to regularly supporting the missionary evangelization efforts of the Order of Friars Minor; publishes the magazine Missions des Franciscains and other publications which raise awareness and provoke reflection on the missions of the Franciscans and missions in general.
